A fun cardboard sled race in view of the Historic Deck.
This year’s theme: What else on April Fools Day but CLOWNS, CIRCUS, & ALL THINGS FOOLISH! Grab those big shoes, red noses, wigs and let’s see the best clown/circus style themed sleds! .
Rules: Sleds can only be constructed of cardboard, zip ties, & duct tape. Pieces of flare, costumes, and paint is highly encouraged. Sleds must have at least two people in them but more welcome!
Sleds are judged on appearance, overall construction and how it slides!
Cardboard Cups will be presented in the following categories:
- Best of the Best
- The Best 100% Kids Sled
- Best Departmental Entry (GP Employee)
- Judges Choice
- The Slider-(Fastest)
The Cardboard Cup will be in the area of the Historic Deck on Hot Cocoa. All those who will be in the sled will need to sign waivers.
Registration is in the Historic Chalet 10am – 11:30am. All those sliding on Snow must sign a WAIVER!
Cardboard Sled Racing 12 noon
The Cardboard Cup starts at 12 noon but sleds should start to arrive at 11am for registration at the top of the magic carpet.
