Granite Peak doesn’t have to be your one-stop shop for all things skiing and riding. Our sister resorts, Lutsen Mountains in Minnesota and Snowriver Mountain Resort in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, offer the best skiing and riding experiences in their respective regions.

Snowriver Mountain Resort, our newest sister resort, has undergone a massive revival since we acquired the formerly named Indianhead and Blackjack Mountains. Located just a mile apart, these two distinct mountains offer some of the best powder skiing and riding this side of the Rockies, thanks to Big Snow Country's natural, snowmaking machine Lake Superior.

Like Granite Peak, Snowriver features superior lift infrastructure, including direct-to-lift access for season passholders and flex product holders. The resort is home to the UP’s only high-speed 6-pack, the Voyageur Express, ensuring minimal wait times and maximum time on the slopes.

Snowriver offers over 75 lodging units, ranging from hotel rooms in the Lodge @ Jackson Creek to bunks and studios, as well as an array of condos all atop the Jackson Creek Summit. These diverse accommodations cater to various preferences and group sizes, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for all guests.

A True Destination - Slopeside

Lutsen also offers this amazing Stay Free Midweek Package at Eagle Ridge for two days or more, and we’ll deduct the lodging fees from your stay. Explore the amazing skiing across our mountains and then enjoy live music any day of the week in the Lofty Gondola. Wednesday nights feature some of the best singer-songwriters in the region in an intimate setting. Only 60 tickets are available each week, so if you’re headed up, make sure to secure your seat!

Eagle Ridge features an outdoor pool & hot tub, fitness center and ski-in / ski-out accommodations that deliver you to the bottom of Eagle Mountain or Moose Mountain or a short walk to the Lutsen Summit Express Gondola!
